Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli are working on their next mega film which is said to be a globetrotter which is currently in the pre-production stage. Fans are eagerly speculating about his look for the film, especially since he has been spotted recently wearing sunglasses and hats, with only a few images revealing his longer hair and beard.
As per a report by Hindustan Times, during a promotional event for his upcoming film 'Devaki Nandana Vasudeva', Mahesh's nephew,
Ashok Galla, shared insights about his uncle's current focus. He mentioned that Mahesh is trying to "protect his look" for the film, which is rumoured to be an adventurous project that will be developed with stunning visuals the 'RRR' director is known to include. Ashok said that Mahesh is busy working with Rajamouli and wants the first look of the film to make a significant impact on fans.
He said, "He's trying to protect the look for his fans and the audience. He wants the first look to be a banger…so he’s staying silent."
While details about the film remain under wraps, it is confirmed that it will be a global adventure drama film. The project is tentatively titled 'SSMB29', with Mahesh reportedly undergoing physical training to prepare for his role.
Mahesh Babu is reportedly preparing for a character inspired by Lord Hanuman, requiring significant physical transformation. The film is expected to begin shooting in early 2025, with Rajamouli scouting locations in South Africa.
The film is rumoured to be made on a substantial budget of around Rs. 1000 crore with Mahesh Babu said to be co-producing the film.
