Mahesh Babu's upcoming film Guntur Kaaram is one of the most awaited in Tollywood. Every update about this film garners a huge response from the movie buffs. Recently, two songs and title glimpses were released and now all eyes are on the trailer.

The makers of Guntur Kaaram are preparing for its grand release on Sankranthi. They are planning to launch the trailer on a special day. As per reports, the trailer of Guntur Kaaram is scheduled to be released on January 1, 2024, which is New Year's Day. However, an official confirmation regarding this release date is still awaited.

Recently, Mahesh Babu's second single, "Oh My Baby," was released but it failed to impress the audience. As a result, music composer S Thaman and lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry were trolled on social media by the actor's fans. They criticized the song for having too many "English words and a dull tune." Unfortunately, the online trolling was so severe that it led Sastry to deactivate his X account.

Guntur Kaaram marks the third collaboration between director Trivikram Srinivas and Mahesh Babu after Athadu and Khaleja. Billed to be an action drama, the film features an ensemble cast including Jagapathi Babu, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Ramya Krishnan, etc. Pooja Hegde, who was initially the female lead of Guntur Karaam, walked out due to constant changes in the script and shoot. Later, the makers welcomed Meenakshii Chaudhary on board along with Sreeleela in the film. The cinematography film is handled by Manoj Paramahamsa.
