Mahesh Babu-fronted 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' is in huge demand for its theatrical rights. According to trade sources, the overseas rights of Mahesh Babu-starrer has been sold at a whopping price of Rs 11 crores, the biggest amount ever paid for any of the Tollywood actor’s films. In addition, it is believed that Sarkaru Vaari Paata’s Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka rights could also be sold for a record price.
Meanwhile, the CBFC (Censor Board Of Film Certification) gave a U/A certificate to 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' recently. So far, the makers have unveiled four songs from the upcoming action-entertainer. The fourth single, titled "Ma Ma Mahesha", has been penned by Anantha Sriram, composed by Thaman, and sung by Sri Krishna and Jonita Gandhi. Meanwhile, the ''Kalaavathi'' lyrical video song is all over the internet. The song smashed records after being viewed over 160 million times on YouTube.
Helmed by Parasuram Petla and backed by GMB Entertainment, 14 Reels Plus and Mythri Movie Makers, the film has cinematography by R Madhie. Along with Mahesh, the film features Keerthy Suresh as the female lead. The film also has Samuthirakani, Vennela Kishore, Posani Krishna Murali, Subbaraju, Tanikella Bharani and Mahesh Manjrekar, among others. Slated to hit theatres on May 12, 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' has been edited by Marthand K Venkatesh.
