Manchu Manoj urges fans and film fraternity to help save Chennai during water crisis

Manchu Manoj, who was last seen in ‘Okkadu Migiladu’ in 2017 is known for his golden heart, with the actor previously even taking up the initiative of ‘Save the Farmer’.
Now, with the water crisis Chennai is facing, the actor decided to help out the city, announcing he’s reaching out to help on his social media and urging others to do the same. Revealing that he will be supplying drinking water to some areas of Chennai, he wrote, “#Chennai gave Food/Water and Shelter to our Telugu people when needed.NOW ITS OUR TURN! The nation’s 6^th biggest city is running out of basic ‘WATER’. I, with my friends, well wishers and fans would be supplying drinking water to areas where I grew up and Request you all to come, do your bit.” (sic)

The actor then went on to tag Aadhi Pinisetty, Mahat Raghavendra, Simbu, Suriya, Raja Yuvan and Premgi in the post, urging the actors to do the same. It remains to be seen how many will heed his call in this desperate hour.
