Music director Mani Sharma is now booked by Tamil Nadu's Neelangarai police for land grabbing and encroachment allegedly "using fake documents". A charge-sheet is filed on the talented composer basing on the findings while investigating complaint filed by petitioner Karur Karuppan.
In fact, Mani Sharma owns a piece of land in Kanathur area near Neelangarai of Chennai.

It is accused that Mani encroached around 73 cents land of one Karur Karuppan that is adjacent to his property. Police have found out in their investigation that Mani used fraudulent means and fake documents to grab this land.
Already they have taken the music director's manager Raghuraman into custody. Mean while this case is transferred to CB-CID and they too have found Mani's intentions as malicious and issued an arrest warrant on him and also filed a charge-sheet. However, Mani acquired anticipatory bail from court sometime back.
