Meeku Matrame Chepta Teaser: Smoking, drinking and lying are injurious to health

After announcing the title through a hilarious video, Vijay Deverakonda has unveiled the teaser of his maiden film as a producer titled Meeku Matrame Chepta. Starring ‘Pelli Choopulu’ director Tharun Bhascker as the protagonist, the coming-of-age entertainer is directed by debutante Shammeer Sultan. It features a string of noted actors like Abhinav Gomatam, Naveen George Thomas, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Vani Bhojan, Avantika Mishra and Pavani Gangireddy in pivotal roles.
The 68-second teaser kicks off with Vani Bhojan enquiring about the bad habits of her soon-to-be husband Tharun Bhascker directly with him. And, then joins the interesting star cast who make sure that the narration is filled with amusing dialogues and youthful premise. The background music by Sivakumar is quite captivating and the highlight of the teaser is the caption “Smoking, drinking and lying are injurious to health.” While the shooting of Meeku Matrame Chepta has already been wrapped up, the post-production works are in full swing.
Vijay Deverakonda has launched his own production house (King of the Hill) last year and was mighty impressed with the script narrated by Shammeer Sultan. Meanwhile, Tharun Bhascker has already proved his mettle as an actor with the inspector role in Falaknuma Das.
