Malavika Mohanan's message

The 'Master' actress wrote a message on her official X (formerly Twitter) handle, addressing the reports that she had been cast opposite Chiranjeevi in 'Mega 158'. Sharing a note, she wrote, "Hi guys, so there are a lot of reports circulating online that I'm a part of Mega 158 helmed by Bobby sir. While I would love to share the screen with the iconic Chiranjeevi sir at some point in my career, I just wanted to clarify that I'm not a part of this project and the reports are false."
For the unversed, in the past couple of days, multiple reports have claimed that she had been roped in as the female lead. Fans had been abuzz about the supposed casting, especially since Malavika's name had been trending on X among Mega fans eager to see her team up with Chiranjeevi.

About 'Mega 158'

The film was officially announced on Chiranjeevi's 70th birthday and is tentatively titled 'Mega 158'. The concept poster featured a blood-soaked axe embedded in a cracked wall riddled with bullet marks.
It also had a tagline, "The Blade That Set the Bloody Benchmark."

Malavika Mohanan's next film

Malavika Mohanan was last seen in the Malayalam film 'Hridayapoorvam' alongside Mohanlal. She will next be seen opposite Prabhas in 'The Raja Saab', directed by Maruthi, which is set to hit theatres on January 9.

Chiranjeevi's work front

On the other hand, Chiranjeevi is currently busy with Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, a family entertainer directed by Anil Ravipudi, co-starring Nayanthara. He is also working on his mega socio-fantasy film 'Vishvambhara.'
