Mehreen Pirzada, who recently completed shooting for
Vijay Deverakonda’s Telugu-Tamil bilingual
Nota, will share the screen with
Sudheer Babu next. Directed by debutant Pulli Vasu, the film is touted to be an ‘intense love story’. Mehreen says, “It’s an intense and heart touching love story. In fact, when the director was narrating the script last week, I got so engrossed in it that I kept asking him what happens next? I had goosebumps listening to the story, and I’m sure the audience too will, when they watch the movie,” she says, adding, “Loaded with stirring romance, riveting emotions and unexpected twists, the film will haunt you.
More than the makers chasing me, I was like, ‘I want to do this film, when are we starting?’”
This is the first time Mehreen is collaborating with Sudheer Babu and she’s quite excited about it. “I loved Sudheer’s last film,
Sammohanam, which was quite talked about and I’m looking forward to working with him. In this film too, he plays a flamboyant young man, who is full of life and I play a head-strong girl, who does what she wants. I think it’s going to be a very nice combination,” reveals Mehreen, who’ll start shooting for the film next month.
Elaborating on her role, she says, “It’s a very real, relatable character, not one of those typical heroines that we usually see in most love stories. I just couldn’t let it go.”
Thaman is composing the music for the film, which features an ensemble cast comprising, Rajendra Prasad, Posani Krishna Murali, Pragathi and Naresh.
