Naga Chaitanya recently spoke about his marriage to actress
Sobhita Dhulipala during the trailer launch of his upcoming film 'Thandel' in Visakhapatnam. The 'Dhootha' star referred to Sobhita as a "Vizag ammayi" (Vizag girl) and shared how his home is now influenced by her roots.
In a video shared on social media, Naga expressed his affection for Visakhapatnam, stating that he fell in love with a local girl and married her. He jokingly mentioned that the "ruling party" in his household is now from Vizag, and he playfully urged fans to ensure that 'Thandel' performs well at the box office, or he might lose his honour at home.
Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala have been dating since 2022 and got engaged in a private ceremony on August 8, 2024. They celebrated their wedding on December 4, 2024, at Hyderabad's Annapurna Studios, surrounded by family and friends.
The much-anticipated trailer for 'Thandel' was unveiled on January 28, 2025. In the film, Naga portrays a fisherman facing the challenges of coastal life, with the story inspired by real events from coastal communities.
