Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Custody’ to stream on OTT from June 9

Naga Chaitanya Akkineni, Kriti Shetty, and Venkat Prabhu’s crime thriller film, which failed to live up to the expectations at the theatres, is finally gearing up to entertain the larger public on digital platforms.
The film, which is written and directed by Venkat Prabhu, will stream on a popular OTT platform on June 9. The Tamil-Telugu bilingual is also reported to be available in Kannada and Malayalam in its dubbed versions.
The cop drama, which also stars Aravind Swamy, Priyamani, R.Sarathkumar, and Sampath Raj received mixed reviews from both language critics and moviegoers. It tells the story of a police constable who, along with his girlfriend, Revathi (a driving instructor), gets the dreaded gangster arrested and who does the dirty work for CM Dakshayani and her party.
The film’s Telugu dialogues are penned by Abburi Ravi, while the cinematography is taken care of by S.R. Kathir. The film’s music has been composed by both Dad Ilaiyaraaja and son Yuvan Shankar Raja, edited by Venkat Raajen. The film was released in theatres last month, on May 12, 2023.
