Nandamuri Balakrishna tests negative for COVID-19; to resume 'NBK 107' shoot next week

Ace Tollywood actor Nandamuri Balakrishna has tested negative for COVID-19 and is currently gearing up to resume shooting for "NBK 107". The 62-year-old actor was diagnosed with COVID-19 while he was shooting for his next with director Gopichand Malineni in the last week.
According to a source close to the film, Balakrishna has now recovered and will resume the shoot from the next week in Hyderabad.On June 24, 2020, the spokesperson of Balayya took to social media to reveal that he had tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The note reads, ''#NandamuriBalakrishna is tested positive for COVID19 with no symptoms. He is under home isolation following all precautions. He requested the people who met him in past 2 days to get tested and take care. Wishing him a speedy recovery. #NBK.''

'NBK 107' is backed by Mythri Movie Makers. On the occasion of Balakrishna's birthday, the team released a promo of his character from the film and received a thunderous response. It is evident that the upcoming film is set in the backdrop of Rayalaseema going by the promo. Shruti Haasan plays the heroine in the movie. There are reports that Balayya is playing a dual role in it. The makers are preparing to release the film in the second half of this year. There are rumors that the title of the film is 'Annagaru'.
On the other hand, director Anil Ravipudi is preparing the story for 'NBK 108', which will go on floors in September.
