Nani-Nagarjuna’s film not a remake, director clarifies

There have been reports doing the rounds that the Nagarujuna-Nani starrer is the remake of the Bollywood blockbuster hit film ‘Johnny Gaddaar’ (2007). However, the film is not being promoted as a remake which was creating a confusion among the filmgoers. Director Sriram Adittya has put an end to all the rumours with a clarification.
While rejecting that the makers of Nani-Nag film had brought the remake rights of ‘Johnny Gaddaar’, the director revealed that it is apparently not a remake and it is an original script, he took to Twitter and clarified the rumours.He wrote: “My next film with @iamnagarjuna sir and @NameisNani Produced by @VyjayanthiFilms is not a Remake of any film. It’s an original script.Just wanted clarify”.
The film is produced by Ashwini Dutt under his banner Vyjayanthi Movies. While Nani will be seen as a physician, Nag will be seen essaying the role of a don. The title and the leading ladies of the movie haven’t been confirmed yet. Mani Sharma is the music composer of the film.
