Nani threatened to leave Bigg Boss if I'm part of it: Sri Reddy; It’s absolute baseless nonsense: Nani

The second season of Bigg Boss Telugu kicked off on a controversial note with actress Sri Reddy alleging that she was kept out of the show at the behest of Nani. “I was initially approached by the Bigg Boss team to be a part of the show. I gave my consent but when I did not hear from them for a month, I called them up to ask for an update. I was then told that they can’t take me on board because of ‘some politics’. I was shocked to hear that,” Sri Reddy said, adding, “Later, it became very clear to me that Nani was instrumental in leaving me out of the show. In fact, I’ve learned that he has gone on to threaten the organisers to leave the show if I’m a part of it.”Ask her why would Nani do that and she says, “I’ve known Nani for the last four years. He used to come to my house and promised me that he will get me roles in films as a second lead. Not only has he not kept his promise, he’s now even taking away the opportunity which came to me,” she rues. Earlier, Sri Reddy, in a cryptic social media post on Saturday, suggested that she would soon reveal something about Nani. “Nani + Sri reddy =dirty picture..when??coming soon .. (sic),” she posted on her Facebook page.Representatives from Star Maa, however, have rubbished Sri Reddy’s allegations, and stated that Nani has no say over the selection of contestants for the show.“Nani has absolutely nothing to do with the selection of participants for the show. The participants are chosen by a core group of 16 members in Mumbai and nobody else is aware of who they are, not even senior employees and heads at Star Maa,” clarified a representative from Star Maa. When contacted Nani too rubbished Sri Reddy’s claims saying, “Going by her track record, the whole world has stopped reacting to all the absolute baseless nonsense she comes up with.”
