In recent times, actor Naresh, along with his partner, actress
Pavitra Lokesh, and his ex-wife Ramya Raghupathi, have been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. The turmoil began when
Ramya caught the couple "red-handed" in a hotel room in Mysuru back in 2022. Since then, both sides have been embroiled in a series of allegations, ranging from adultery to financial disputes and more. In July 2022,
Naresh filed an injunction suit against his ex-wife at Bengaluru civil court to prevent her from entering his home at Nanakaramguda. The court has now ruled in his favour and Naresh says it's a huge relief.
“She (Ramya) has numerous debts, and the debt collectors would come to our house, it was troubling to the elder members (maternal side) of the family too. We all sought the protection of the court, which has now given clear instructions that she’s not to enter the house,” Naresh tells Hyderabad Times, adding, “Not just that, the order copy states that the petitioners (Naresh and Ramya) haven’t lived together for six years. It is now classified as an irretrievable breakdown of marriage. The hope now is that this case will help move the divorce case I have filed in Kukatpally court.”
Earlier this year, the actor filed for divorce from Ramya at the Kukatpally court, seeking the dissolution of their marriage. "I have moved on with Pavitra Lokesh, and while many people speculate about my personal life, only I know what I've been through. I hope this case will help move the divorce proceedings forward, as I just want to lead a peaceful life," Naresh expressed.
