NBK106: Balakrishna & Boyapati’s film to go on floors from February 26; eyeing a July release

After delivering blockbusters like Simha and Legend, the crazy duo of Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu are teaming up once again for yet another commercial potboiler. Tentatively titled as #NBK106, the film was officially launched in December with the muhurat shot canned on the protagonist voicing a powerful dialogue. According to latest reports, the shooting of the film will kick-start on February 26 and the makers are eyeing a July end release which was vacated by RRR.
Several names like Nayanthara, Anushka Shetty, Shriya Saran and Namitha were linked-up with this project for the leading lady’s role. Recently, it was reported that hot bombshell Catherine Tresa was also approached. However, nothing has been confirmed by the makers till date and going by the rumours, it looks like the hunt for the heroine is still on.
While the big-budget project is bankrolled by Miryala Ravinder Reddy, S Thaman has been roped in to compose the music. The 36-year-old has already given tunes for Dictator in 2016 and this will be his second film with the Nandamuri Natasimham. Miryala Ravinder Reddy is bankrolling this prestigious project which features a popular actor playing the antagonist’s role.
