Pawan was in the US, insist filmmakers

Harish Shankar and Ganesh Babu, the director and producer of the Pawan Kalyan-starrer, ���������Gabbar Singh��������� called for a press meet on Thursday to clear the air on the debate surrounding the actor���������s whereabouts at the time of the ���������Racha��������� audio function.
���������Pawan Kalyan was in America on March 11 and he landed in Hyderabad on March 12 afternoon.I picked him up at the airport and directly took him to the location of the ���������Gabbar Singh��������� shoot,��������� says producer Ganesh Babu. Director Harish Shankar too reiterated that Pawan Kalyan was in the US at the time of the audio function. Both didn���������t elaborate further about the purpose of Pawan���������s US trip.
The controversy erupted when angry Pawan fans were screaming out his name at the filmi function and Ram Charan said, ���������Power Star went to America for a commitment and he called at 6 pm to say ���������sorry��������� as he couldn���������t attend the audio function.���������
Megastar Chiranjeevi had added that Pawan Kalyan was in the US to attend to some post-production work for ���������Gabbar Singh���������.
