Poonam Kaur files a complaint with cyber crime department over lewd videos

Poonam Kaur, who has starred in films like 'Souryam', 'Vinayakudu' and 'Ganesh Just Ganesh' has filed a complaint on Wednesday, 17 April, requesting action against the people who have uploaded lewd videos of hers on various social media platforms.The actor met with City Commissioner of Police on Wednesday to file the complaint requesting him for help and noted that her videos had been doing the rounds of the internet for a while. Policemen, while confirming the allegations, said some people had created fake social media accounts with various names and published inappropriate videos. The Cyber Crime Police have reportedly registered a complaint against unidentified persons under the IT Act.In the complaint, Poonam Kaur has alleged that 50 YouTube channels conspired against her to tarnish the image of the actress using the video sharing platform with an intention to extort money. The actress requested that the miscreants be traced as soon as possible. A complaint will be filed under sections of 57 or 66 of the IT Act, sources suggested.
