Pushpa 2 OTT release: Allu Arjun-starre film expected to hit digital space on THIS date

Allu Arjun's much-anticipated film 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' collected humongous numbers at the box office, grossing over Rs 1,800 crore worldwide and becoming one of the highest-grossing Indian films of the year. Now after its successful theatrical run that began on December 5, 2024, the movie seems to be making its OTT debut soon.
'Pushpa 2' is expected to stream on Netflix around January 30 or 31, 2025. This follows the makers' earlier announcement that the film would be available on a streaming platform only after a 56-day theatrical window. The makers wrote, "There are rumors floating around about the OTT release of #Pushpa2TheRule. Enjoy the Biggest Film, #Pushpa2, only on the big screens in this biggest holiday season. It won't be on any OTT before 56 days! It's #WildFirePushpa only in theaters worldwide."
Fans are particularly excited about the possibility of an extended version of the film, which includes an additional 20 minutes of footage that was released in a reloaded version on January 17.
The plot of 'Pushpa 2' continues the story of Pushparaj, played by Allu Arjun, as he navigates his role as a red sandalwood syndicate leader, facing off against formidable foes, including Fahadh Faasil's character, SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.

The third part of the film, 'Pushpa 3: The Rampage,' was announced during the end credits of 'Pushpa 2.'
During a conversation with Pinkvilla, Srikanth Vissa, the dialogue writer for the 'Pushpa' franchise, earlier shared updates about the upcoming 'Pushpa 3: The Rampage.'. He confirmed that the third installment will be "much bigger, grander, and better" than its prequel, 'Pushpa 2: The Rule.'. He also shared that as they developed the script for 'Pushpa 2,' they realized there was much more to explore within the Pushpa universe.
