This announcement came at the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) in Dubai, where the 'Pushpa' team celebrated their multiple wins, including Best Actor for Allu Arjun and Best Director for Sukumar.

After watching the ending of the Allu Arjun film 'Pushpa 2: The Rule,' fans have been eagerly waiting for another installment of the film, which is named 'Pushpa 3: The Rampage.' Recently, the director Sukumar officially announced that the team will definitely work on the third part.

Sukumar speaks about 'Pushpa 3.'

The 'Pushpa' team attended the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) in Dubai on Saturday, where they won five big awards. During the show, as per a Hindustan Times report, the hosts teased the team on stage, asking Sukumar the burning question every fan wanted answered: would 'Pushpa 3' actually happen? Initially playing along, the director turned towards producer Naveen Yerneni and Allu Arjun before declaring, "Obviously, Pushpa 3 undi (Obviously, we're making Pushpa 3)."

He made a witty reference to Fahadh Faasil's character Bhanwar Singh Shekawat's iconic dialogue, "Party ledha Pushpa?"For the unversed, the film bagged five prestigious awards. Allu Arjun clinched the Best Actor award, Rashmika Mandanna was honored as Best Actress, Sukumar won Best Director, Devi Sri Prasad took home Best Music Composer, and Shankar Babu Kandukuri was recognized as Best Playback Singer (Male) for the popular track 'Peelings.'

On his social media, Allu Arjun shared a video of getting ready for the awards and walking to the venue; the video also captures his brother, Allu Arvind, smiling at him.
In another post, he shared his joy and the award with the team. He wrote, "Thank you SIIMA for the constant love & recognition. Winning 3 back-to-back SIIMA Awards is truly a humbling moment. Congratulations to all the winners & nominees. This credit goes to my director, @aryasukku garu, for making this happen, my artists, my technicians, my producers, and the entire crew of Pushpa. And I dedicate this award to my fans...for the unwavering love & support. Humbled."

Sukumar and Allu Arjun's upcoming films

However, it is imperative to mention that fans won't be getting the much-anticipated part three anytime soon. The team made 'Pushpa' and 'Pushpa 2' continuously, but now both the actor and director are focusing on two different projects, as Allu Arjun is working with Atlee on the sci-fi 'AA22xA6' and Sukumar will be working with Ram Charan on 'RC17.' They are expected to work again after the completion of these films, but no official statements have been made. The expectations are high for 'AA22xA6'.'Pushpa 2: The Rule' went on to make over Rs 1742 crore globally as per Sacnilk.
