Rajinikanth is one of the versatile and popular heroes of India. The Kollywood superstar is all said to turn 78 this December and two movies of the actor are re-releasing in theatres to celebrate his birthday, The actor's one of the most successful film 'Sivaji The Boss' will be re-released in Telugu in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in December.
Taking to social media, the makers of the movie on Sunday announced that the film will be re-released in Telugu states.
The official statement read, "Here comes a super treat for superstar Rajinikanth fans in Andhra and Telangana. Enjoy Sivaji on the big screens in select theatres from December 9, 2023 as part of a weeklong celebration for his birthday."
Directed by Shankar, 'Sivaji The Boss' was released in 2007 and the movie starred Rajinikanth, Shriya Saran, Vivek, Suman, Raghuvaran, Manivannan among others in important roles. The film's music was composed by AR Rahman. The film after its release became a commercial success and grossed Rs 160 crore at the box office. The film was also released in 3D a couple of years back. Following this, Rajinikanth also has 'Thalaivar 171' with Lokesh Kanagraj. The pre-production work of the film has begun and it will go on grounds next year. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth will be appearing on the big screens in January 2024 with 'Lal Salaam'. Directed by Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth, the actor plays a cameo role in the sports drama as Moideen Bhai.
