Rakul Preet Singh and Panja Vaisshnav Tej’s film on the verge of completion: Actress shares making video

Taking to her Instagram story, Rakul Preet Singh shared a making video from the sets of her upcoming Telugu film with director Krish Jagarlamudi. Revealing that the talkie part has been wrapped up with only one song left to shoot, the 30-year-old actress wrote that it’s been a memorable 35 days of bubble shoot with the amazing dream team for a dream role.

Starring ‘Uppena’ fame Panja Vaisshnav Tej as the protagonist, the untitled project showcases Rakul as a village belle and she will be seen in a de-glam avatar for the first time.Majority of the rural drama is being shot in Vikarabad forest and going by the leaked pics, the Punjabi bombshell is playing the role of a goat shepherd. Grapevine suggests that the film is inspired by author Sannapureddy Venkata Ramireddy's novel Kondapolam which tells the story of Nallamala forest-based shepherds and how they protect their cattle from predators and red sanders of the region.
On Friday night, the ‘De De Pyaar De’ actress jetted off to Mumbai from Hyderabad to join Arjun Kapoor for their cross-border love story tentatively titled as ‘Sardar & Grandson.’ Originally planned in September, the shooting of the Hindi film got postponed after the Bollywood hero tested positive for COVID-19.
Besides this project, Rakul has several south films like Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2, Sivakarthikeyan’s Ayalaaan and Chandrasekhar Yeleti’s ‘Check’ opposite Nithiin.
