Rakul Preet Singh’s first-look as Obulamma from Vaishnav Tej co-starrer Konda Polam released

Actress Rakul Preet Singh’s first-look and character name from Krish’s Vaishnav Tej co-starrer Konda Polam has been revealed.
The first-look reveals that she plays a village belle named Obulamma and expectations have now been amped up. What’s more, previous leaked stills reveal she plays the role of a shepherd. Confirming it Rakul wrote, “Here she is #OBULAMMA - my most loved character.a shepherd girl of unbelievable bravery, charisma, and a beautiful understanding of love & life! Hope u like it. (sic)”

Director Krish had wrapped up shooting for the film in long schedules and less days before the second wave of pandemic hit. Konda Polam was shot in Vikarabad and surrounding areas after that. It is based on a novel written by Sannapureddy Venkata Rami Reddy. Vaishnav, who debuted with Uppena, will have an interesting character to play in the film too, state sources. He will play an urban boy this time around. Rakul was last seen in Check which hit screens in February this year.
The film will hit screens on October 8. Krish is currently directing Pawan Kalyan and Nidhhi Agerwal starrer Hari Hara Veera Mallu. Further details are awaited.
