Ram Charan to star in Telugu remake of Thani Oruvan

The Telugu remake rights of latest Tamil blockbuster Thani Oruvan have been bagged for a whopping sum of Rs 5.5 crore by producer DVV Danayya, who will produce the film with actor Ram Charan in the lead. While the pre-production work has already begun, the process of finalising the director is underway.
Surender Reddy is reportedly pipped to direct the Telugu version of the film which will go on floors in November.���Nothing has been confirmed so far. Talks are going on and it���s too early to say anything,��� the source added. Thani Oruvan is a thriller about the face-off between a righteous policeman and a rich, conniving entrepreneur.
