Ram Charan's Naayak release for Jan 2013

The release date of mega power star Ram Charan's new film Naayak has been planned for 2013 Sankranthi. The movie, which is directed by V V Vinayak, is tipped to be an action entertainer and the latest news is that the makers are eyeing the 2013 pongal slot for release.
Coming with a caption 'The Leader', the racy action entertainer is being made on faction backdrop with comedy blended into the script.Kajal Agarwal and Amala Paul are playing the female leads while SS Thaman is scoring the music. DVV Danayya is producing the movie under Universal Media banner. Nayak has already completed couple of shooting schedules and is gearing for another schedule in Greece from August 20.
Already, several big ticket films like Jr NTR's Baadshah, Venkatesh's Shadow, Allu Arjun's Iddarammayilatho, etc are scheduled for 2013 festival release. So it'll be interesting to see which film will eventually stay in the pongal race.
