As 'Baahubali: The Epic' is all set to hit theaters soon, Rana Daggubati, who played the role of the antagonist Bhallaldeva in the movie, opened up about how the film changed his life. The actor also talked about why he feels lucky about having no films to release this year.

Rana Daggubati talks about 'Baahubali'

In an interview with News18 Showsha, Rana Daggubati shared the film changed his life. Speaking about the same, the actor shared that the epic movie didn't just change his but every filmmaker's life in the country. He added, "The audience too—the way they watch things, make things. Everything changed."The actor went on to share that it's been 10 years since the release of the first part of the franchise, and the compiled version is "coming back."

Rana Daggubati on how he feels about not having any releases this year

In the same interview, the actor was asked if he is feeling old. Rana Daggubati shared that he is "not feeling old." He went on to add, "I'm actually feeling lucky because I didn't do any film this year." He further shared that though he doesn't have any movie releases this year, 'Baahubali' is still coming out in theaters. He said, "(It would) still become one of the biggest phenomenal things that happened, and it’s coming in a form that you never saw before.
"The actor shared his excitement over the remastered version of the film, adding that he cannot wait for it to come out again.

The new re-edited version of the film is a compilation of the two parts. As per the makers, the film has been remastered for the audience for a big-screen experience. The re-release is set to release in the US on October 31, 2025.
