Rana Daggubati has always been a busy actor with a string of films across multiple languages. Thanks to the mighty success of Baahubali franchise, most of his projects are subsequently helmed in different languages to cash in on his Pan-Indian craze. At present, the 35-year-old handsome hunk is gearing up for the release of his upcoming trilingual ‘Haathi Mere Saathi’ titled as Aranya in Telugu. The teaser of the film has been recently unveiled to an astounding response from all quarters.
To look his part as a 50-year-old man living in the jungle, Rana followed a strict diet regime from the past two years and underwent extensive training to shed down nearly 30 kilos from his body. With grey hair, heavy beard and a titled shoulder, his first look as Bandev instantly connected with the viewers.
Sharing the details regarding his dramatic physical transformation, Rana said “Prabhu Sir wanted everything to be real and organic. It was very difficult for me to lose all the weight since I have always been a guy with a big physique. I had to undergo extensive physical training to get the lean look for the character of Bandev. It has been a wonderful and learning experience for me.”
