Ravi Teja and Gopichand Malineni thank fans for love and support during Krack's release
Gopichand Malineni’s Ravi Teja and Shruti Haasan starrer Krack hit screens on January 9 and the story of it hitting screens was no less dramatic than the film itself.
With Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan’s fans and movie buffs expecting the film to run in theatres from 8:30 AM, they were in for an unpleasant shock when shows across not just the Telugu states but also the US kept getting cancelled.

The film’s producer Madhu had run into a financial issue, state reports, which hindered the film from hitting screens till he cleared his dues. With the team of Krack promising that the issues will be sorted soon and that they will meet their promised release date, fans waited in anticipation all day long to watch a mass entertainer after ten long months on-screen, that too, right on time for Sankranti.
With Tollywood celebs and fans rallying around the team of Krack, even if many did voice out displeasure at having to wait, especially when the team wasn’t providing any clarity about the release, the film did finally manage to hit screens come second show. By then many fans had even bought tickets to multiple shows, hoping the film will finally release. Many had even bought tickets for the promised first show, but it was only the second show that would showcase the movie on its day one. With only single-screens having picked up the film in many regions, even multiplexes finally picked it up and the film has received good reviews from fans and critics alike. Despite the fact that Krack will soon receive competition from RED and Alludu Adhurs come January 14 and 15, the film seems to be going strong.
Thanking fans for showing love despite the hurdles, Ravi Teja took to social media and wrote, “Thanking all my fans and well wishers who've been waiting to watch KRACK and have waited a little too long to watch it in the theatres, all out of love. Your love is my energy. Thank you once again.” (sic) Krack is a special film for Ravi Teja seeing as how it finally seems like he might score a hit after Disco Raja and Amar Akbar Anthony letting him down.

Director Gopichand also penned a note which reads, “The passion for cinema is larger than life for Me. It has been a very Hard 100 days for me leaving my family behind working day and nights to make u all happy for this Sankranthi. I wish No director should under go this stress in life. Right now all we need is love back to us. To cherish all my life. Our #krack is All urs Now. Faced so many challenges and hardships For this #KRACK. Thanks for all the support and love…Yours Gopichandh malineni.” (sic)

With good word-of-mouth and reviews, it remains to be seen how the film will fare at the box office in the coming days.
