Rudhramadevi to release in March

Anushka starrer Rudhramadevi is set to release in the last week of March announced the filmmakers. Exactly two years ago on Vasantapanchami director Gunasekhar began shooting for the movie at the historic 1000 pillar temple in Warrangal. Tipped to be the first ever 3D stereoscopic film to be made in India, the film is a biopic based on the life of 13 century Kakatiya ruler Rudrama Devi.The film's shooting has been completed and the post production work of the film is underway.
Allu Arjun is playing the role of Gona Ganna Reddy, a Robinhood kind of character. Rana Daggubati is playing Anushka's love interest in the movie which features an ensemble cast. Baba Sehgal, Catherine Tresa, Nithya Menen, Prakash Raj, Krishnam Raju among others.
