‘RX 100’ fame Ajay Bhupathi set to join hands with Naga Chaitanya?

Ajay Bhupathi worked as an AD to Veeru Potla and Ram Gopal Varma before fulfilling his directorial dream with ‘RX 100’ which turned out to be a massive success at the ticket counters. Set against the backdrop of Atreyapuram village, the rustic film managed to stun the audience with its unforeseen climax, soothing numbers and applaud-worthy performances. The obviousness of a rich-girl & poor-boy love story got an unexpected twist in RX 100.The mini-budget outing brilliantly explored the male psyche and the destructive side of one-side genuine love.
Following the success, it was reported that Ajay Bhupathi would be working with young heroes like Ram and NIthiin. In fact, the new-age director went ahead and confirmed his second project ‘Maha Samudram’ with Bellamkonda Sreenivas. Strangely, the film is nowhere close to shooting.
If the on-going reports are believed to be true, Ajay is all set to direct Naga Chaitanya in his next. According to sources, the director narrated the script separately to both Chaitu and Samantha. While the ‘Majili’ pair is reportedly impressed with the script, it remains to see whether both the actors will share screen space or only Naga Chaitanya will act in the film.
While Gemini Kiran is expected to bankroll this untitled project, the Akkineni scion is currently on a short break.
