“Don’t flirt with the guest too much,” read his note as he sent her flowers before taping the show. “You thought I’m at home anyway and will come whenever you ask,” he joked, referring to him being her last guest on the show.
When she asked feedback for her hosting skills, as it was her first time, he said, “But you never take my advice, why will you start now?” Talking about why Samantha is active on social media and he’s not, he said, “It’s a preference to keep my life completely private.” The actor maintained the same when he recently promoted his film, Love Story, refusing to answer questions about their split.

After talking about everything from bikes, cars, girls and education, when Samantha joked that she doesn’t talk to last-benchers, Chaitanya, who’s a self-professed last-bencher said, “Don’t talk! Then why did you marry me.” What’s more, when Samantha tried to push him to admit he would never leave her, “Any person you won’t let go of, you can’t say Hash,” she prods and he replies, “Yeah Hash, I won’t let go of him.” “But what about me,” she pouted, but he only admitted he would never leave Hash.

Talking about working with Naga Chaitanya in Ye Maaya Chesave, Samantha said, “I would’ve been a very different person if I hadn’t done my first film with Chay, so thank you for being a great influence on me.” She also added that many predicted that she would stop working after marriage. “I believe men and women are the same, we’re equal. So I don’t know why anyone would think otherwise. I read stories of women suppressed by society. My thought process of equality is nothing great either, it’s how it should be,” he said. On the contrary, Samantha got great roles in films like Rangasthalam, Oh! Baby, U-Turn, Jaanu and now Shaakunthalam after their wedding.
