The film was not only a big hit at the ticket windows but also won numerous prestigious awards, including three Nandi Awards. She also won Filmfare Award for Best Debut Actress for her portrayal of a Kerala Christian Jessie. Since then it was no looking back for the actor, and she continues to be one of the busiest actresses in the industry as she completes ten years in cinema.
Now, she is one of the few successful actresses in the history of South cinema. In her presence in the entertainment industry, the actress has managed to uphold an aura of elegance.
