'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' star Mahesh Babu wishes Mani Ratnam on his birthday

Maverick filmmaker Mani Ratnam turned 65 on Wednesday and was showered with birthday wishes by the film fraternity and fans. The director-screenwriter-producer is known for his films like Nayakudu, Geethanjali, Anjali, Dalapathi, Roja, Bombay, to name a few.
Tollywood star Mahesh Babu has extended birthday wishes to the great filmmaker. He wrote, ''Wishing the cinematic genius #ManiRatnam sir, a very happy birthday.Good health and happiness always!''

On the professional front, Mahesh Babu was last seen in Anil Ravipudi’s 'Sarileru Neekevvaru', which was a blockbuster hit. Rashmika Mandanna shared screen space with Mahesh in the film. The soundtracks and background score for the film were composed by Devi Sri Prasad. 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' was bankrolled by Sri Venkateswara Creations, G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment and AK Entertainments.

The star actor will be next seen in 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata', directed by Parasuram of 'Geetha Govindam' fame. Keerthy Suresh of Mahanati fame will be seen playing the female lead opposite Mahesh in the film. It has been bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, 14 Reels Plus and G Mahesh Babu Entertainment. Vennela Kishore, Subbaraju, Prakash Raj and Arjun Sarja are also part of the star cast. The movie has Chota K Naidu on board as the cinematographer. The technical crew also includes music director S Thaman, editor Marthand K Venkatesh and cinematographer R Madhi.
