Sharwanand's 'Ranarangam' first look is badass!

The much-awaited first-look of Sharwanand’s upcoming film with Sudheer Varma, Kajal Aggarwal and Kalyani Priyadarshan released today.

“RADICAL. ECCENTRIC. ASTUTE. KIND!” (sic) is how the production house termed his character while announcing that the first look of

will release today. Sudheer Varma announced today evening that the film will be titled ‘

Ranarangam

’, while releasing the first-look poster of the film. He wrote, “Presenting you the first look of #RANARANGAM. #Sharwanand @sudheerkvarma @MsKajalAggarwal @kalyanipriyan @vamsi84 @Diva_DOP @iprashantpillai @SitharaEnts @haarikahassine.” (sic)


During the shoot of the film, Sharwanand’s look was leaked via behind-the-scenes photos and working stills, so his brand new look is not really surprising. The actor, who’s touted to be a gangster in the film, can be seen smoking a cigar and sporting a salt-and-pepper look. The gangster flick’s story will chronicle his character’s story during the 90s and present day both. ‘Ranarangam’ will explore how he evolves and changes with time. The makers also released a video which sees Sharwanand sporting a younger look and walking with his posse in tow.


Talking about how the film turned out, producer Suryadeva Naga Vamsi stated, “We like the different world that Sudheer Varma creates in his movies and we are happy with how Ranarangam will showcase a whirlpool of emotions. He made the movie better than he narrated to us initially. Sharwanand delivered one of his best performances and we can say that with great confidence. We hope people will love this new gangster flick from Telugu Cinema.”

‘Ranagaram’ is slated for release on August 2, 2019 and will see music by Prashant Pillai, cinematography by

Divakar Mani
