Singer Smita reveals everything she's doing to help the needy during lockdown

With the coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent lockdown proving to be a difficult time to many, not just due to the health threat but also due to lack of livelihood, Tollywood and celebs are truly stepping up in time of need.
Singer Smita, known for her songs in films like Anukokunda Oka Roju, Chatrapathi, Malliswari and more took to social media to announce the help she’s meting out to the needy during the lockdown and urging others to do the same.Putting up a long list of the number of meals cooked and where it was distributed, apart from a picture of the needy being served, she wrote, “List of meals cooked & distribution chain attached. I took up 2500 meals a day & it went up to 5000 with ur support.” (sic)
Thanking the Cyberabad Police for their support and talking about her plan for the next few days, she wrote, “We are now starting to distribute groceries to 2000+ families frm tomorrow which will serve a family for 10 days. Thanks @cyberabadpolice #dontwastefood 4 ur support.” (sic)
