Sumanth reveals details of his upcoming rom-com

After the lockdown was lifted in Telangana, Tollywood stars have gone back to shoot, including Sumanth.
After wrapping up shooting for Anaganaga Oka Rowdy before lockdown, the actor announced that he’s now shooting for a rom-com. Sharing the news on social media, he wrote, “From the muhurtham of my, currently in production, rom com. Produced by Red Cinemas. Creative producer: @aditisoni1111 Music: @anuprubens DOP: @GRNSivakumaar.Writer/Director: @tgkeerthikumar. (sic)”
Director and producer Keerthi Kumar is directing the film. He had earlier penned dialogues for Pedavi Daatani Maatokatundhi, which hit screens in 2018. Announcing that he has wrapped up shooting for Anaganaga Oka Rowdy, the actor shared a glimpse of his new film and wrote, “This is from the set of my other film, a yet to be titled rom-com. Anaganaga Oka Rowdy was wrapped up a while back. (sic)”

Anaganaga Oka Rowdy is directed by Manu Yagnaa and will see Sumanth in a whole new avatar as Waltair Seenu. The film is touted to be the Telugu remake of the Malayalam gangster-comedy Padayottam. The film will hit screens sometime this year. The actor was last seen in Kapatadhaari, a remake of the Kannada film Kavaludaari. He played a traffic cop who solves an old mystery.
