Raja Karthik Ganta became an instant hero, as he confronted Chiranjeevi under the full glare of media attention.
Chiranjeevi made it to the polling centre Jubilee Hills Club at 9.11 am along with wife Surekha, son Ram Charan and daughter Sushmita and stood in the queue to vote. Seeing him in the queue, one polling official beckoned Chiranjeevi to come inside and vote, he turned down the offer. As the media personnel jostled to snap his image, some officials urged him to go ahead and vote. As Chiranjeevi and his family entered the polling booth, Raja Karthik sprang into action and asked: ���Don���t you think you should stand in the queue?���

He jumped the queue and went straight inside the polling booth. ���Although nobody walked up to Balakrishna to request him to stand in the queue, people asked the media why should there be a separate rule for actors and common men,��� said an onlooker, who was at the polling booth, adding, ���On top of that, he was using his cell phone when everyone was told clearly that cell phones are not allowed.���
