Tammareddy is the new President of AP Film Chamber

Veteran director and producer Tammareddy Bharadwaja has been elected as the President for Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce for the year 2012-13. The elections for the post of President and other governing bodies were held yesterday (July 29, 2012) and Tammareddy and 11 other members registered a comprehensive win over Sravanthi Ravikishore���s group.
While Tammareddy���s panel had the support of Darsakaratna Dasari Narayana Rao, Sravanthi Ravikishore���s men were backed by top Tollywood producers like Suresh Babu, Dil Raju, Allu Aravind, etc.But what���s interesting is that Tammareddy, who has taken up the cause of small producers, has got elected to the top post.
The newly elected president assured that he would put an end to the supremacy of big producers who are controlling the theaters in AP. The other elected office bearers are: Ashok Kumar as Secretary, Jeevitha Rajasekhar as Joint Secretary and Vijayender Reddy as Treasurer.
