Allu Arjun's arrest in connection with the tragic stampede incident during the premiere of 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' on 4th December has led to a huge controversy and is part of multiple discussions in the past couple of weeks. Recently, Pawan Kalyan, Allu Arjun's uncle and the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, expressed his sorrow over Revathi's death and criticized the lack of timely action from the film industry.
The actor-turned-politician spoke to the media at his camp office in Mangalagiri where he said that there is a need for compassion and humanity in such situations. He suggested that someone from Allu Arjun and his team should have visited Revathi's family sooner to offer condolences.

He said, "The film industry should have come together to support Revathi’s family and acknowledge the tragic mistake."
Pawan Kalyan also defended Allu Arjun, arguing that cinema is a collective effort and it is unfair to place blame solely on one individual. He recalled how even his brother, Chiranjeevi, used to attend film screenings incognito to connect with fans. According to Pawan, decisions made during such chaotic events are often situational, and responsibility should be shared among the entire team involved in the film.

Furthermore, Pawan praised Revanth Reddy for his support of the film industry, highlighting how his policies have benefited filmmakers by allowing ticket price increases that boosted collections for films like 'Salaar' and 'Pushpa 2'. He clarified that Allu Arjun's arrest was based on police actions following the incident and that it was not appropriate to blame the Chief Minister for it.
On the work front, Pawan Kalyan has multiple films in his pipeline including 'They Call Him OG', 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' and 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh'.
