The new masala in M-Town

After the blockbuster flick, Salt N��������� Pepper by Aashiq Abu, M���������town is all set to witness the arrival of yet another comedy and entertainment packed story with its title revolving around food - Spanish Masala by ace director Lal Jose. While Oru dosa undakiya katha (the story that started with a dosa) is the key string of the whole plot of ���������Salt N Pepper���������, Spanish Masala would have its thread based on the story of two cultures uniting through food. After the super-hit movieArabikkatha which had a Chinese actress Zhang Chu Min in the lead, Lal Jose isgetting ready for the next flick which will have a Spanish actress DanielaZacherl opposite Dileep and Kunchako Boban. Daniela is a trained hip-hop dancerfrom Austria.The shoot, which started on August 1 at Madrid���������sJardines- de Sabatini is expected to release all over India by last week ofOctober. The film is being completely shot in Spain, with two days of shootscheduled in Kochi. The crew would return back to India this month.Scripted by Benny P Nayarambalam the movie tells the story of aMalayali chef falling in love with a Spanish girl, the daughter of his master,who is an ambassador belonging to a royal family in Spain. The cast includesDileep, Kunchacko Bobban, Biju Menon, Kala Ranjini, Vinaya Prasad, Nelson andGopalan. The rest of the actors are from Europe. Lal Jose, who isnoted for his distinctive style of shooting songs, started the shoot of���������Spanish Masala��������� with a song sequence of Dileep and Daniela.Vidyasagar has composed and tuned songs to the lyrics written by R Venugopal. While Loganathan handles the cinematography, Gokul Das directs the art process and Ranjan Abraham will do the editing. Costume designers are Arun Manohar and Aravind.R. Naushad is the producer for the SpanishMasala under the banner Big Screen Entertainment. The spellbound factor is thatthe title of the movie is a recipe created by the Big Chef and producer Naushadhimself. Nazim and Sajith are the line producers. Vinod Shornur is reported tobe in-charge of the production. ���������People from differentcultures are meeting to work together. The results are gorgeous off screen.
