Shruti Haasan starrer Krack that released recently has scored big at the box office according to the box-office collection and fans have appreciated the action sequences depicted in the film. The most talked about among them is the Vetapalem fight sequence. In an interview recently, director Gopichand Malineni revealed that the entire Vetapalem episode in the film is inspired by real life events.
Gopichand Malineni said, “There is a scene in the film where a group of antagonists drink the blood of donkeys to make themselves strong. Many thought that it is fiction but the fact is that I have heard quite a few stories of people around the Ongole area drinking donkey blood for strength. As soon as they drink the blood, they are supposed to run in order to let the blood flow to avoid clotting. I adapted it in the film and that episode has received a tremendous response from critics and fans alike.” He added that even the Ongole bus stand fight scene is inspired from real life events. He said, “Around 10-15 years ago, murderers in Ongole use to cut electricity before committing a murder. If there was a power cut in the town after 8 pm, people knew that a murder was going to take place.”
After Krack’s success, the director has hinted a sequel to the film and the lead actor Ravi Teja has agreed to it on the condition that Gopichand comes up with yet another solid script.
