Varalaxmi Sarathkumar joins the ensemble star cast of Ravi Teja - Gopichand Malineni’s film

Instead of settling as a commercial heroine, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar chose the hard way and proved herself as a complete actress with impressive performances in Kollywood. After playing the antagonist in successive films, the 34-year-old super-talented diva is all set to make her Tollywood debut with G Nageswara Reddy’s Tenali Ramakrishna BA BL. Touted to be a comic caper; Varalakshmi is likely to essay an interesting role in this Sundeep Kishan & Hansika starrer.For her last two films, the Maari 2 actress took the extra effort and dubbed on her own in Telugu.
Meanwhile, it’s already evident that Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is teaming up with Gopichand Malineni for the third time. Touted to be an intense action thriller, the untitled film will showcase the 51-year-old actor as a tough cop and Shruti Haasan will be his leading lady. While Kollywood actor Samuthirakani will essay a pivotal role in the film, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is the latest entry to join the ensemble starcast. She will reportedly be seen in a powerful role.

The project is expected to launch this month and the shooting will go on floors pretty soon. At present, Ravi Teja is busy wrapping up Disco Raja.
