Veteran Telugu Tamil actor Vijaykanth and politician's three right toes have been reportedly amputated by doctors due to the actor suffering from Diabetes for past some time now. The actor reportedly had no blood supply to the three-foot fingers of his right foot.
Therefore on Monday doctors reportedly removed them immediately and the actor's health is stable now.
The veteran actor had remade some Telugu films such as Jr.NTR’s ‘Simhadri’ in Tamil and Several of his Tamil superhit movies were dubbed frequently in Telugu.
A few of his films such as Sattam Oru Iruttarai (1981) were remade in several Indian languages in addition to Telugu. His Telugu dubbed film Captain
Prabhakaran (1991) directed by RK Selvamani was one of the most successful films in Telugu. The popular actor who is known for his title tag ‘Captain’ has made a movie on corruption which was one of the biggest hits of his career and it was then remade in Telugu by Megastar Chiranjeevi.
The actor turned producer and politician stopped doing back-to-back movies reportedly due to health issues and got busy with politics.
His Son Shanmuga Pandian is also an actor, who is currently filming for his upcoming ‘Mithran’.
