Vijay Deverakonda to team up with Palasa 1978 director Karuna Kumar?

Vijay Deverakonda is looking forward to 2020 as he has lined up exciting films. He is currently busy shooting for his upcoming movie, Fighter, which is directed by Puri Jagannadh. The film, which has been in the making for past few months, is slated to release in November.
It looks like Vijay Deverakonda is on a film signing spree. Recently, it was reported that he will join hands with director Shiva Nirvana for VD 12. Dil Raju will be bankrolling the project under his home banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. Now, reports suggest that Vijay will team up with a one-film-old director Karuna Kumar for his 14th film.
Sources close to the team reveal that his film with Palasa 1978 director Karuna Kumar is based on a social issue. If the rumours are anything to go by, this untitled film will go on floors once Vijay Deverakonda completes his current assignments. Producer Allu Aravind will produce this venture under his home banner Geetha Arts. An official announcement regarding the same will be announced shortly.
Vijay Deverakonda has been going through a rough phase in his career as his last couple of films failed to perform well at the box office. His market is going downhill because of his underperforming films. The Geetha Govindam actor has pinned all his hopes on Fighter.
