The Manchu family is known for their contributions to Telugu cinema and is also said to be in a bitter family feud. The conflict between Mohan Babu's sons, Vishnu Manchu and Manchu Manoj, has been escalating over the years, with their sister Lakshmi Manchu largely staying out of the public eye.
Vishnu's wife, Viranica, recently spoke about the impact of the feud on their children. During an interview with NTV, she shared that her priority is her kids and that she tries to stay away from controversy to maintain their sanity. The children, Ariaana, Viviana, Arya Vidya, and Avram, were reportedly scared by the situation, which has affected them more than Viranica herself.
She said, "Every family has their own issues; it’s not just for my family. A lot of their issues don’t come out; unfortunately, ours did. There’s nothing one can do about it. For me, my priority is my children."
Viranica further added that she tried to stay out for the children's sake; she stated, "I am like a sponge; I take everything. But my actions are dependent on my children. This whole crisis that we’re dealing with has affected my kids more than me."
"I try to stay away from all sorts of controversy; I step away from it. If my children have to be sane, I need to be that sanity for them," she said.
In 2024, the feud intensified when Mohan Babu filed a complaint against Manoj and his wife, Bhuma Mounika, alleging that he feared for his safety. Manoj countered by claiming that goons had entered his home and attacked him, leaving him injured.
