The whole plot revolves just around my character. We have finished shooting for the Telugu version. Getting nostalgic, she adds, Shooting in Vizag was extra special as I lived in this city for a couple of years when in school. It brought back some fond childhood memories.
In fact, Nikitha just cant seem to shake off her connection with Vizag. For my first film too, we shot a song in Vizag and now my second film is set here. I hope I get to come back to Visakhapatnam in the near future for other films too, she adds.
The actress recalls the years she spent in the Port City, Nikitha says, My father worked here for a while. I completed my schooling in Vizag and I consider this phase a turning point in my life. I spent the years that matter here in this city, says Nikitha, who appreciates the cleanliness of Visakhapatnam the most. It is truly a clean and green city. Plus, its so calm. The people are so warm too. The Telugu spoken here is very sweet and has a sing-song lilt to it. And who can forget the natural beauty of this beach city, which is located in the middle of mountains. I still fondly remember my long beach weekends here, she adds.
Nikitha has become a celebrity in her own right in the city. When I was shooting for my first film here, one of my classmates came to the shooting spot to wish me luck. I was thrilled that she remembered me. In fact, all my Vizag friends watched my first film here and called me to congratulate me and compliment me on my work, she says.
Nikitha is currently busy with a few projects in her kitty. After Made in Vizag, she will start work on Race, a commercial entertainer. I have just signed up for a couple of exciting new Tollywood projects which will be announced soon. Im happy with the body of work Im being offered, she says.
