Tamil beauty Amritha Aiyer is making her debut in Telugu cinema opposite TV anchor Pradeep Machiraju in the upcoming film ‘30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela’. Chartbuster songs like Neeli Neeli Aakasam and Meeko Dhandam have garnered good attention for the romantic-drama and with a renowned production house like Geetha Arts coming on board to release the film, the pre-release buzz has mounted.However, due to COVID-19 crisis and the subsequent lockdown, the release has been postponed.
Meanwhile, during a recent “Ask Me Anything” session on Instagram, Amritha Aiyer responded on her favourite actress in Tollywood and without thinking twice, she said that she is a huge fan of Samantha Akkineni. In a video reply, the 26-year-old actress said “I adore Samantha ma’am. Be it her acting, her charity works through Pratyusha Support or Green India Challenge, I just love what she is doing.”

Along with 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela, Amritha Aiyer is starring alongside Ram Pothineni in the Telugu remake of Kollywood blockbuster Thadam titled RED. Directed by Kishore Tirumala, the action-thriller also features Nivetha Pethuraj and Malvika Sharma as the leading ladies. While the first look posters and the teaser managed to hit the bull’s eye with the riveting theme, Hebah Patel’s special number ‘Dinchak’ worked well with the masses.
Originally scheduled for a release in March, RED was postponed due to the effect of the pandemic. While speculations went rife that the film will hit a major OTT platform, Ram clarified that it will only release in theaters once the lockdown gets to an end.
