Working with Dasari was a revelation: Catherine
Catherine believes her Erra Bus co-star Vishnu Manchu is a bad pillion rider. Recalling her experience of riding a scooter with Vishnu sitting behind, Catherine says, We were rehearsing for a scene when I brushed the bumper of a car by accident. I turned around, and Vishnu wasnt even there. He had gotten off the bike and was signaling to people to make way for me.

I can ride a scooter, you know! who doesnt meet with accidents? However, the actress has only nice things to say about Vishnu otherwise.
He just enjoys pulling my leg and was at it from day one. Vishnu keeps everyone on their toes with his wisecracks and there is never a dull moment on the sets when hes around. If you watch the making video of the film, you cannot stop laughing. It was great working with him, says Catherine.
Directed and produced by Dasari Narayana Rao under Tharaka Prabhu Films banner, the family entertainer, which released this Friday, has Catherine playing a medical student in the movie. Talking about her role in the film, she says,
The film has a interesting premise and I have a meaty role. I always try to do new things in every film and Erra Bus is another step in that direction. I play a fun loving young girl whos in love with Vishnu, shares Catherine. The glam diva, who earlier worked with reputed directors like Puri Jagannadh is all praise for veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao.
Every filmmaker has his own view of life and cinema and thats what they try to project on the screen. But Dasari garu is really special. His body of work speaks volumes about his career. He is a legend and is revered by everyone. Working with him was a revelation. I learnt a lot about life in general and cinema as well. He has dealt with the subject very well and stuck to his conviction, says Catherine, whos confident that the film will strike a chord with the audience.
