Naga Chaitanya’s angry young man avatar gets everyone talking

Naga Chaitanya seems to have switched to action mode, if the first look of his upcoming film, Yuddham Sharanam, is any indication. The poster shows 30-year-old Chai as a brooding angry young man, leading to speculation that the film could be an out-and-out actioner. The makers, however, don’t want to reveal much. “Does the title or the appearance of Naga Chaitanya in the poster mean that it is a complete action film? ‘Yuddham’ does not mean war in the literal sense.It could also be a conflict within a household or anywhere else, for that matter. Action is definitely there in the film, but it is equally packed with emotions and necessary ingredients,” says a source close to the unit. Helmed by debutant director Krishna RV Muthu, the film stars Lavanya Tripathi as the female lead.
