Everyone except the Indian? Popular entertainment account called out for not naming Dhalsim actor Vidyut Jamwal in Street Fighter cast reveal
The X handle of popular entertainment platform DiscussingFilm posted the cast and characters of the upcoming movie inspired by the popular 90s video game Street Fighter. However, they omitted Indian actor Vidyut Jamwal's name out of the list, who is set to play the fighter Dhalsim in the film. The account was called out and accused of being "racist" and "xenophobic" over the omission.

The movie is set in 1993 and follows estranged fighters Ryu (Andrew Koji) and Ken Masters (Noah Centineo), who are pulled back into action when the mysterious Chun-Li (Callina Liang) recruits them for the next World Warrior Tournament. The tournament is a fierce battle of fists, destiny, and rivalry, but a hidden conspiracy forces the fighters to confront each other and the demons from their past. Fail, and it’s game over.
