From litti seller to troll target: Bihar’s ‘Russian Girl’ says going viral ruined her life
A Bihar food stall owner, Rosy Neha Singh, went viral after a humorous video clarifying her identity. What started as a fun promotion quickly turned into a nightmare of trolls, stalkers, and unwanted attention, forcing her to close her business. She now seeks peace over online fame and views.
We often look for that one big moment online sometimes, where a content video goes viral, amasses likes, and even impacts our lives in the most unexpected of ways. But what if fame crashes in like an uninvited guest, wrecking the brain’s peace instead of building dreams?A similar incident happened with a small business owner from Bihar whose fun clip meant to sell food turned into a nightmare of trolls, stalkers, and lost livelihood. This tale changes the perspective on the growing popularity of being famous on social media.

From a fun video to viral trap

Rozi Neha Singh, known online as Bihar's "Russian girl," saw her simple food stall promo explode into unwanted stardom. Belonging to Sonepur, Bihar, and living in Ranchi, she ran a litti-chicken spot while working as a beautician. To draw customers, she posted casual videos, until a response to comments about her looks changed everything.Fans kept asking if she was Russian due to her features, so Rozi made a humorous clip in her Bihari dialect. According to the video, she clarified she was “a pure Bihari girl, not Russian,” but the video's viral surge labeled her forever. “People think going viral means instant success. For me, it became a burden I couldn’t carry,” she told AajTak Digital in a candid chat.At first, the attention boosted her stall. She leaned in with more content, enjoying the likes.
But soon, demands grew relentless.

When the trolling turned toxic

“When I couldn’t answer every question or stopped making the same kind of content, people turned abusive,” Rozi shared with AajTak Digital. Trolls hit her comments with nasty remarks, and vloggers showed up uninvited. She also experienced some unwanted collabs who exploited her fame. “If I said no or couldn’t give time, they would start trolling me too,” she explained. The online hate spilled offline, with drunk visitors, selfie hounds, and harassers disrupting her prime Ranchi location. “It became impossible to work normally,” she said, leading to the stall's full closure.

She asks for peace over views

Rozi admits she never grasped social media's money side. “I don’t know how accounts get monetised or how people earn from millions of views,” she confessed to AajTak Digital. Her family stays clueless too.Chasing views cost her calm. “I made a mistake by trying to promote my shop through content. When the views came, I kept chasing them... and lost my peace,” she reflected. Now back to basics, she wishes for a simple life: “Now, I don’t want any views. I just want to live and work without any trouble.”
